“Katrina, please baby don’t walk away from me again,” I begged her as she made her way to the door.

“Trey, what the hell am I staying for, huh? There’s clearly something still there between you and her!”

“No there isn’t. It was a moment, a second. It didn’t even last long and I stopped it when I realized what was happening.” I grabbed her arm.

She looked at me with fire in her eyes and then down at my arm like it had shit on it. I quickly released her arm.

“Trey, I’m not a fucking fool and I feel like that’s what you’re taking me as. You think I’m gonna be with you, let this slide then just wait for you to fuck her? You really got me fucked up! You had me come over here to make up with her and I still end up looking like a fucking dummy! I’m so tired of this bullshit Trey. It should not be this hard to be with someone you love. I’m done. I’m so fucking done with this shit Trey!” she yelled while wiping the tears that were steadily falling from her eyes.

“Trini, I’m so sorry baby. I swear it didn’t mean shit,” I said trying to get through to her.

“Ky, LETS GO!” she yelled.

Katrina waited impatiently by the door, shaking her leg up and down. I knew she was pissed off because that’s the only time she shook her leg like that. I was trying to think of something to say to make her believe that I only wanted her, but I knew nothing I said right now would make her change her mind.

“Katrina, I know I’m the last person that you want to hear this from but Trey loves you. That kiss was an honest mistake. It was a simple kiss. Nothing more. I know that you’re all the woman that he needs and wants.” Roxy came to my defense as she stood in the hallway. Katrina turned her head in Roxy’s direction so fast that I almost caught whiplash.

“Bih…Roxy, please shut the hell up. You sound like a damn fool taking up for Trey. He is a grown ass man and I’m honestly getting tired of this pathetic ass conversation. He knew exactly what he was doing when he kissed you and I don’t need either one of y’all explaining shit to me,” Katrina spat.

“I have sat around and watched Trey torture himself about you since the day I moved in here, trying to come up with a way to get you back in his life. Katrina please, there is nothing going on between the two of us. I swear!”

“Roxy listen, we just patched up our issues and to be honest, I want to keep it that way. This issue isn’t between you and me because you don’t owe me a damn thing so I would appreciate it if you just stayed out of it,” she snapped.
